How much does a campground map cost?
Two answers, depending on whether local businesses are in it.
Short answer
Usually nothing to the park. Local businesses near the park buy the advertising, and that covers the design, the printing, and the shipping. If you would rather have no advertisers, or the spots do not fill near your park, you buy the maps outright and we quote it by park, based on the quantity, the page count, and whether it is two pages, four, or eight. Getting a map drawn from scratch by a freelancer instead runs $400 to $1,500 for the file alone, before you print anything.
The two ways it gets paid for
Sponsored. Local businesses buy the ad spots. That covers design, printing, and shipping, the park pays nothing, and reorders are free. An inside ad is $350 for twelve months, cover and map sponsor spots are more and are industry exclusive.
Bought outright. No advertisers at all. The whole guide is yours: your map, your rules, your camp information. We quote by park based on quantity and page count.

What is included either way
The map drawn from your site list. Your rules and camp information laid out in your words. A proof you approve before anything prints. Printing and shipping to your office. And a digital copy of the map for your website and confirmation emails.
Why the free version is genuinely free
Because local businesses want your guests. A camper who arrives not knowing where to eat, buy propane, or get a tire fixed is a new customer for somebody in town, and those businesses pay to be the one the map points at. That is the whole arrangement, and it has worked since 1986.
