RV Park Map
For local businesses

Advertise in the RV park map.

Every guest at the park down the road gets a printed guide with the park map, the rules, and the WiFi password. Your ad is on it for twelve months, and the camphost recommends you in person. From $350.

Inside of a guide: park rules and camp information in the center, fourteen local business ads around the edge

Inside a guide. Your ad sits next to the park rules and the WiFi password, which is why guests keep it.

Why it works.

"Please patronize these advertisers. They have proven their reliability and are recommended by your hosts."

Printed above the sponsors on the back of every guide.

Guests get the guide when they check in. It tells them where their site is, when quiet hours start, and how to get online, so it lives on the dash for the whole stay. When they ask the camphost where to eat, the camphost points at the guide, and at you.

  • Handed to every guest at check-in, not left in a rack.
  • Recommended in person. We train the camphost to refer guests to the sponsors.
  • Twelve months of distribution, through the whole season.
  • Out-of-town money. Campers spend about $86 a day in the area, and they do not know where to go yet.

What to put in your ad

  • One offer. Ten percent off, a free scoop, a free dessert with dinner. Something the guest can act on this week.
  • Your address and hours. Campers are new in town. Tell them where you are and when you are open.
  • A QR code to your menu, your booking page, or your map pin. We generate it.
  • A photo of the thing. The plate, the shop, the boat. Not a logo on a white box.

a park's yearly guests are roughly three times its site count

Marketing with RV Park Map put a sponsor in front of 1,594 more people a month than a well-built pay-per-click campaign for the same budget. The comparison campaign targeted the top 50 "best restaurant near me" phrases in one city, built by a PPC agency to keep it fair. Sixty-five million Americans plan to go RVing this year, and 69 percent of them choose a park by what is close to it.

How it works.

  1. Choose a spot

Inside, cover, or map. Your rep will tell you what is open in the guide for the park near you and whether industry exclusivity is available.

  2. We design the ad

Send a logo, a photo, and your offer, and we lay it out at no extra charge. Or send finished artwork. You approve a proof before print.

  3. Your ad runs for twelve months

The guide prints and ships to the park. The camphost hands one to every guest at check-in and recommends the sponsors. Reprints carry your ad all year.

Reserve a spot.

Tell us your business, the park you are near, and the spot you want. Your rep will confirm what is open and send a proof.

Questions from advertisers.

How many RV park maps get printed with my ad?

A print run is sized to the campground's yearly guest count, which is roughly three times its site count. A 60-site RV park hands out around 180 maps a year, and reorders print your ad all year at no extra cost to you.

Can I be the only business in my industry on the park map?

Yes, with the map sponsor spot, which is industry exclusive. Inside ads are placed with other local businesses and may share a category, so a second restaurant or RV repair shop could be on the same map.

Do I have to design my RV park map ad?

No. Send a logo, a photo, and your offer, and we design the ad. If you have artwork, an inside ad is 3.5 by 2 inches, business-card size. Ask your rep for the cover and map sponsor specs.

Can I change my ad during the year?

Yes, on the next reprint of the campground map. Seasonal offers are common: a winter RV service ad in the fall run, a patio special in the spring run.

Is there a contract for advertising on an RV park map?

An ad is a twelve-month placement paid up front. There is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews without you. Ninety-eight percent of advertisers choose to renew for another year.

Is advertising to RV travelers and campers worth it for a small local business?

Campers are out-of-town customers who do not know where to eat, buy propane, do laundry, or get an RV repaired. The printed park map is handed to every guest at check-in and the camphost recommends the advertisers on it. An inside ad works out to about a dollar a day for twelve months.
