What if the ad spots don't sell for my park?
It happens occasionally, usually at remote parks, and the important part is that you find out rather than waiting.
Short answer
We tell you, and you choose. Either wait for the next round of sales, which often fills once a rep has worked the area properly, or buy the run outright at a price we quote by park. What we will not do is leave you waiting months for maps that never arrive, which is the most common complaint we hear about other companies. If your park is remote enough that filling is unlikely, we will usually say so before we start.
Why it sometimes does not fill
Remote parks with few businesses within reach. Very small towns where the same handful of businesses are approached by everyone. And occasionally timing, if a rep reaches an area at the wrong point in its season. It is not common, but it happens.
Your two options
Wait for the next round. Sales cycle through areas, and a park that did not fill in spring often fills in the next pass.
Buy the run. Quoted by park. You get the same guide with no advertisers in it, which some parks prefer anyway.
What we do differently
We tell you where the sales stand rather than going quiet. If we can see early that an area will be difficult, we say so before you have been waiting three months for something that was never going to happen.
A partial fill
Sometimes half the spots sell. Then we can either run a smaller guide, four pages instead of eight, or you cover the difference. Either way you see the numbers and decide rather than being told after the fact.
